so i have a few questions about the paintball tanks that are used, any requirements by the field per event, do i get discounts on paint , basically while constructing one what should i keep in mind if i intend on using during an HSI event.

Some straight forward questions,
1. Is there some form of registration i would need to do with it or do i just roll up on the day and find a reff and say hey i got a tank lets go
2. Any limits on fire power or munitions on the tank
3. Safety Requirements beyond that of normal paintball (barrel bags and general PB safety is already known something special?)
4. Max crew Count?

We are about to finish the design part before this years MMG, and we hope to unveil it at next years MMG (2011), any thing that is constructive will be greatly appreciated by the engineers working on this project with me.

Thanks all.

now at this line here

* No vehicles originally manufactured for road use may be used. No Vehicle may exceed ¾ ton (1500lbs) G.V.W.

if we are completely stripping an old ford ranger down to use its frame, and engine, not just rolling on the field with a pickup truck does that pass the requirement,

No VIN base construction max speed is 3mph. the only way it would work is if you ripped out the original engine and replaced it with a golf carts (10-30 horse)
I reccomend mowers, argos, coots, cushman utility carts. or taylor dunn carts. I saw a K.I.T.T military AATV for sale in ann arbor that would work
