When Hell Survivors® first introduced Fireball® Paintballs, ProCaps was producing (imo) the best & most consistent paintball out there. We were very pleased with the premium ball they were producing for us for years. Later on, we did experience some 'cure time' issues at an event where the paint was not given ample time to dry before packaging and delivery. This error meant that the paint was 'too fresh' and was soft especially when being used in high heat & humidity. We addressed the issue and they made steps to corrected it.
When we introduced the mid-grade Fireball® Formula 40™, it proved to be a good quality ball @ a budget price.
Then about a year ago, ProCaps slowly started having major quality and consistency issues. To the point where we decided we could not afford to have this manufacture produce our product any longer. Because of Major Sponsorship commitments and agreements, we couldn't make any immediate changes and hoped things would get back to normal. It did not. There product was now giving our brands a 'black eye'.
With this being said; I have to apologize on behalf of Hell Survivors® & Exotic Sportz® for any inferior quality issues you may have experienced with our products in the past. We appreciate your loyalty and understanding through that embarrassing & difficult time.
I will guarantee you this: for the Hell Survivor's 2012 Season, you will experience the best paintballs produced by any manufacture, once again under our product names.
We are excited about the timing of this change in ownership and the up-coming paintball season @ Hell Survivors®! We look forward to seeing you all next year starting, St. Patty's Day or at one of our five major events.
We wish you all a Merry Christmas & Happy New Year! We'll see you in the jungle.

G.I. SPORTZ ACQUIRES PROCAPS!
December 8, 2011 – G.I. Sportz has acquired the assets of Procaps, a leader in paintball manufacturing. The acquisition will combine two of the industries leading manufacturers of paintballs and paintball products. The DXS/Draxxus line of paintballs, along with the VForce Vision Systems, will be immediately integrated into the G.I. Sportz network.
Richmond Italia, President and CEO of G.I. Sportz, commented, “By re-acquiring Procaps, we have taken the first step towards returning the paintball industry back into the hands of paintball players. We have always loved the game, and it’s great to have the opportunity to bring DXS/Draxxus back home.”
“We are excited to move forward and expect a seamless integration of the two companies. Our customer service representatives will be contacting all customers within the next few days. We invite all current Procaps Direct customers to contact us as well”, said Dave “Opie” Thomas, Vice President of U.S. Sales.
Procaps was founded in 1996 and quickly grew to be the largest, most successful, privately owned paintball manufacturer in the world. In 2005, it was sold to an investment fund. In 2011, the company will come full circle, back to it’s original founder, Richmond Italia.

ProCaps was in trouble with material suppliers. Therefore they had to shop new ones that would supply them.
It was an embarrassing mess for us to deal with as a company. We will once again be looking at the best
paintballs produced to go under our brand names for next year. .

Hydrotec Paintball
We are already signed up as a future dealer, however, I think it will still be a while before they come out.
Sounds good in theory, Seeing is believing!
