Please answer this poll honestly and don't double vote to skew the results.
We need to make over a $10,000.00 commitment on this project and need to know
weather we would sell enough of the markers and rounds to justify having them produced.

If they were made I wouldn't buy a Tiberius Arms Marker. I would modify my old Pro/Carbine to use them instead. But I really like the idea of them. Hopefully they will get made.

If I can use them at the field I would buy them and would also buy the upgrade kit for my Tac 8.

some after market company needs to make a conversion kit for the TPX. It could have a barrel adapter that can fit a first strike (like what agent did to his) and then a new magazine that can hold the first strike. That would be amazing!

I've been interested in these things since they were released. If the price of the markers comes down a bit, and they live up to the hype after I try'em out I would but the marker and the paint from you guys.

the prices on TA markers are somewhat getting better. I've seen the T8.1 which comes ready for first strike for 200 instead of the T8 which is 200 and then buy the 100 or more kit for them.

They're starting to come down a little, but not on the ones I've been looking at. One thing I like about the T8.1 over the others is that the remote line is in the rear of the marker rather than going through the mags which will eat up O-rings. The T9 is cool but I dont want to keep having to take all the stuff off whenever I have to clean it, and don't even get me started on the T4 thats all around simply bad ace but I would need to find a buyer for a Kidney first; I'm broke as hell... damn economy... lol

yeah I know what you mean about the T4. If only it wasn't 899. I have to say one of my teammates has T9 and he loves it. It seems like a good marker and most of the time he doesn't use half the stuff it came with.

We have decided to hold off because of some safety issues at this time.

I know some of the guys at Tippmann I talk to about the TPX are concerned over the fact that they retain so much velocity. The reason they fly so far is that aerodynamics make them not decelerate like a round ball. So if you shoot a roundball at 300fps, at 60 feet it's usually below 200fps, the first strike would still be doing around 250-270. Also some guys are not happy with the nasty welts these leave, especially up close. For my own shooting through my TPX, I chrono them at 250 max. It was easy to mod my TPX to shoot these, the magazine was the hard part. When the new 7rd mags come out, they'll be much easier to convert.

If the only issue is the velocity then the fix is easy, just turn it down. But I might go a little lower than 250, maybe bring it down to 230-240 just to be on the safe side and see what that does for the welts. As for the nasty welts up close, hopefully they are not going into the 20ft rule, and if they do I would hope they offer a surrender.
