Some one needs to start a thread call Mars on Life. I would be a regular reader in that one.

Gentleman (and Ladies), I'm afraid I'm going to make you buy the book, if I ever get around to finishing it. I actually am writing two, one on Relationships, and the other life/philosophy/politics/history/"what's wrong with the world today" stuff.

And Chaos is right... life does suck. More certain than death and taxes. But, it's how you stand up to those challenges that makes us who we are. This past year (2008), my Mom died, I was in an explosion (we won't go into those details), my business is suffering, half of my friends are out of work (some of them being forced to move away to find work), my girlfriend (of seven years) left me for another guy, I'm being sued (we won't go into those details, either), am starting to show some gray hair (just a few, however), and I'm not sure how much longer I can rely on my car to get me places. I do not let these things get me down. I am thankful... I'm not restricted to a wheelchair and have full use of all my limbs, am not blind, do not have some kind of cancer, can feed and clothe myself, am able to still hear and play music, and that I at least have a car to worry about. I'm not saying I'm a glass is half-full guy - I'm just saying I have other things to worry about (like the occupying government), which are not in my control (yet - aaahhh, someday, though). But, Chaos, I'm right there with you, fist in the air... life does suck. Remember - "life is terminal... there is no cure", but certainly don't go out without the fight of your life and surrender to any weakness.

Listen for more of the preachings of Reverend Pariah at HSI this year.

I hope the numbers stay up as well, it makes the games that much better!

I think it would kinda neat if the field cut people some percent off of the entry fee for big games if they can show they are unemployed.
