Selling:
1: No upping threads.
2: All items for sale must have a listed asking price.
3: No links to E-Bay, or other pages selling items.
4: No "Just wondering how much I can get for this" threads.
5: Do not finalize a deal in your thread. That is what PMs and e-mail is for. Use it.
6: Do not re-list an item until the original thread has been pruned by the staff(PM Admin).
7: If an item is for trade, post what items you are looking for. If it is for trade as well as for sale, you still need a price, and place the ad in the forum appropriate for the type of item you are selling.
8: "I want to buy" threads go into the "WTB" forum, and that forum only.

Doing any of the above will get a thread closed without warning, and the member will get a warning that breaking the rules will lead to a temporary ban.

Buying:
1: Do not comment on other peoples items or threads in a derogatory manner.
2: Do no up other peoples threads.
3: Do not use other peoples threads to spam your own for sale thread.
Doing any of the above will get the post deleted without warning, and the member will get a warning that breaking the rules will lead to a temporary ban.

Long version:
Selling:
1: No upping threads.
Any post made by the thread starter with the intent of bringing their thread back to the top of the forum is an up. Do not post pictures one at a time, do it when you start the thread. Do not haggle with people over prices in your thread to keep it at the top. Do not chat with your friends in a for sale ad.
2: All items for sale must have a listed asking price.
It's simple: If it's for sale, it has to have an asking price. Outlandish prices with the "Well, since I have to have an asking price" logic will get a thread deleted.
3: No links to E-Bay, or other pages selling items.
None, end of story. If people wanted to buy stuff on e-bay, then they would be shopping on e-bay.
4: No "Just wondering how much I can get for this" threads.
If you want to know how much something is worth, then do some research, and find out how much other people have sold it for.
5: Do not finalize a deal in your thread.
If you want to work something out, then do so, in private. That is what PMs and e-mail is for. Use it.
6: Do not re-list an item until the original thread has been pruned by the staff.
Keep track of your threads. Do not re-list the same item more than once. If you cannot find your old thread, go to your control panel, and click on the topic subscription link to get a list of all the topics you have started. It will be in there.
7: If an item is for trade post what items you are looking for. If it is for trade as well as for sale, you still need a price, and place the add in the forum appropriate for the type of item you are selling.
If it's for trade only, then post what you are looking for in place of a price. If it is for trade, and for sale, then post what you are looking for AND a price.
8: "I want to buy" threads go into the "WTB" forum, and that forum only.
Buying:
1: Do not comment on other peoples items or threads in a derogatory manner.
If you think an asking price is too high, then don't buy the item. If you do not like the product someone is selling, then close the window. If you don't want to buy the item for the listed price, then don't post.
Politely correcting someone about a technical aspect of the item they have listed is not a derogatory comment unless you phrase it as one.
2: Do no up other peoples threads.
I don't care if it's your brother, best friend, or what ever, do not bump threads.
3: Do not use other peoples threads to spam your own for sale thread.
If you want to sell an item, fine, then make a thread. Do not use other peoples trade of sale threads to promote your item.

All rules are subject to change at any time, for any reason.

If you post an item for sale or trade make sure you know what your doing and you are ready to commit to the deal. Please no jerking forum members around and please be as honest as you can. If you change your mind delete your post and notify your customers. I say this because members modify or cancel deals they might have to get your things than you cancel on them and it creates a huge chain.

"Feeling out" or "Just wondering" posts can be posted at other forums, but lets keep it real here. I don't really want to hear of bad deals or trades going down so do your part

No flaming members ads either. "I would sell it for this much Stuff." or "You'll never get that." Thats just not right.

YOU MUST LIST A PRICE IF YOU ARE SELLING AN ITEM: No price, and your thread will be closed. Pages and pages of "is this enough?" just isn't working

DO NOT UP YOUR THREADS: If people are interested in your items, they will find them. Get a clue, if people don't reply to your ad, maybe people aren't interested, or the price is too high.
If you change your price, edit the original post, and make a post stating that the price has been changed.
Adding pictures one at a time, day after day, to up your thread is still an up. Post a complete classified, then wait for interested parties to reply.
