Great video
It's funny to see the condensation clouds as everyone is shooting.

I think Germany played the game to it's true intent on Sunday, sneaking points from their ally, then setting up everyone against Mexico since they were winning, so you could hold the bases and nearly steel the win.

Good Job, (just not good enough tongue.gif )

170K points, that's a little over an hour and quarter of flag time, or about 5 gold bricks ( Mexico found 6 )

A guy with a PPS Blazer that wasn't working asked me for help.

I gave him some tips and hopefully it helped, but I never saw him again, if anybody knowshim I'd love to know how his Blazer is performing or can point him to better advice.

I planned on shooting everything that did not have the same jersey as I did.

And you were a ref laugh.gif

The way to play the game smart is to form short term alliances, 30 minutes while we capture this objective etc.

With the poor communication in Paintball it's almost impossible to pull off though wacko.gif

It hasn't always fallen into two powerblocks, and the game gets stale really fast if it does.

The best weekend I've ever had at HSI was acouple of years ago when we kept it much more independent.

Every team for themselves !

tippmann pulled of the win.

I'm flabbergasted.

As a Tippmann player I agree that world played solid all day right to the end and had us hemmed in at the insertion most of the time.

We played open play all day Saturday 9/7, the guy who was in charge of the group did a great job, good communication, we had several little kids first time playing, he was great with them, checked they're masks were on right, awesome.

All the other staff were great too.

Thanks HSI for providing a safe and fun place to players of all ages and ablities to enjoy paintball.

I think at the moment relatively few Nerf launchers would attend so it would be a challenge ot find ona nd get them to the right place in time.

I understand at DOTR the Somalis didn't have one, and were pinned down by Helicopters for extended periods.

I think more would appear with time, and then a balance has to be maintained.

I like the missions idea, I think the hunt for the gold really added tot his years global.

How about the missions are a gamble for the commander, they have to be bought, but say are worth double the price if you can pull them off.

At a game like global, a smaller team could play the missions, use alliances to help them complete the missions (known to the ally or not wink.gif ) and gain cash that way

I love tanks and LAWs, but at HSI I say there's too much cover and not enough freedom of movement to allow tank kills with LAWs, the tanks would hardly get on the field.

Would be useful against choppers though

The countries and flags are part of what makes Global different than MMG or TWC, and with the colored Jerseys pretty much unique as paintball games go.

Along with the nukes, gambling and this year the buried treasure these are all strategic elements of the game which make it much more than just about shooting.

I know some people play paintball just to shoot things up, and get frustrated at global with the alliances and stuff, but for me I like to play with my head as much as my trigger finger and much prefer it too the simpler format of MMG or TWC.

Variety is the spice of life. biggrin.gif

I hear HSI advertising on 89X (fm radio) during the evenings this week.
They were giving a VIP pass as part of the Top nine at Nine last night, didn't win, I'll be trying again if they do it again.

I thought the grinder was relatively quiet this time, much more action at the back of the field.

Posiible because the green zone limited the grinders tactical dominace.

The ref staff is top shelf, so guys quit wasteing thier time by useing non field paint. lol

People really think they are going to get way with that, with something as distinctive as Fireball wacko.gif

Great job by the refs, you can't have great games like these without great reffing.

I've played two MXS games, two run by TB and five by Viper, plus all the HSI games over the years, stuff happens this game had no more hiccups than any of those others.
You Delta Ops guys did a great job of reffing which made a complicated game work, great job.

(There didn't seem to be all the usual red box chronos set up, I'm guessing this wasn't your fault and couldn't have helped)
